How can I evaluate MAWi without Zero clients or Mawi Players?

It is possible to install MAWi on a PC and use it for testing purposes.
You can also emulate a zero client or a MAWi player before actually purchasing the unit.
You will be able to play any type of content and evaluate MAWi in full.

Hardware requirements:

- A PC with Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise, physical or virtual, for the installation of MAWi (PC1) 
Minimum specs: Dual-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 100GB of storage.

- A PC with Windows10 (can run on any version), preferably a physical machine that can be connected to a TV, for the installation of Spacedesk Viewer (PC2).
Minumum specs: Dual-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 100GB of storage.


Steps:

1. Install MAWi Server and MAWi Client on PC1.

Once the installation process is completed, you can access the MAWi management console by using any browser, and log in with your username and password.

2. Install the Spacedesk driver on PC1 from this link:

3. Install Spacedesk viewer on PC2 from this link:

4. Set the spacedesk viewer to connect to the MAWi server's IP address.
Once the viewer is connected, you will see the extended desktop of PC 1 in the viewer app that runs ןn PC2.

5. Login into MAWi's management console using your browser:
HTTP://{IP ADDRESS of PC1}:60669
Use your username and password to log in.

Now you can play any type of content on the screen attached to PC2.
