How to run a multiple PDF files on multiple screens from a single PC using Foxit Reader

In the following guide, we will demonstrate how to run a number of PDF files from a single PC on multiple screens using MAWi

One of the options we recommend is using Foxit Reader as the application that runs the PDF files.

It’s a freeware application that works very well in multiple instances scenarios and is also very easy to use.

1. Install Foxit Reader on the host PC.

Foxit Reader v10 was tested and found as fully compatible with our system.

Downloaded Foxit Reader v10 from Here.

Please note: Don’t install the Foxit PhantonPDF add-on

Click Next on all other screens and finish the installation

2. Start Foxit Reader (icon should appear on the desktop) then select File > Preferences

Go to:

Documents  and set the following:

check the “Allow multiple instances”

Set the mode to “Full Screen”

3. Go to Trust Manager and set the following:

Open Foxit Reader from applications without valid digital signatures > Change Settings >

Add this file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Monitors AnyWhere\Desktop.Client\MAWiClient.exe

Please note

a. When utilizing Foxit Reader, ensure that the resolution of the main screen matches the resolution of the additional screens linked to the zero clients or MAWi Players.

b. Ensure that the Scale and Size settings are adjusted to 100% on all screens.

4. Open the MAWi management console > Admin panel > Manage Launcher :

Add a new item in the Common Launchers tab, name it 'Foxit Reader' and add its path.

5. Save the launcher and it's now ready to be used in MAWi.
