How to run PowerPoints slides in MAWI
There are two options to run PowerPoint slides in MAWi.
1. Upload the PowerPoint file (PPT,PPTX,PPS) to the MAWi system and play it.
In this option, everytime you want to update the presentation, you will have to upload the file into MAWi again.
1- In MAWi´s dashboard click on “Create New Playlist".
2- Add a name for the playlist and click on “Add New Item”
3- Inside the "Upload File" click browse or drag and drop the PowerPoint file.
4- Select MAWPowerPointLauncher as the launcher then click on save.
5- Click on finish.
How to run playlists on the screens.
1- Select the screen.
2- On the launcher panel select the playlist you want to run.
3- Click on "Play Now"
2. Saving the PowerPoint file in a shared network drive and direct MAWi to open it from that shared folder.
In this option, you can update the presentation in the shared folder and MAWi will play the most up-to-date content that you've saved.
1- In MAWi´s dashboard click on “Create New Playlist.
2- Add a name for the playlist and click on “Add New Item”
3- Select the "Local" tab and choose your Agent's name:
4 - Set the "Application" to MAWPowerPointlauncher and in the "Custom Parameters" set your presentation folder name and file name as shown below:
5. In the "Set Duration" you can set the refresh time for MAWi to re-open the file from the shared network drive.
