This guide will walk you through the steps to connect your MAWi Player v2 to your Online Monitors AnyWhere account.
How to set up the MAWi Player v2 for the first time and connect it to your Online Monitors AnyWhere cloud-based content management system account
- Unbox the player and connect the HDMI and adapter cables to their respective ports on the player.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your screen and plug the adapter into a power source.
- Use a network cable to connect the player to your network point.
- Plug a mouse into the player's USB port to control the player.
Note: For optimal performance and faster content transfer, we recommend using a network cable to connect the player to your network.If a wired connection is not possible, MAWI players can also connect to your network via Wi-Fi.
The initial setup screen will appear on your display.
Choose your preferred language and click the arrow icon to proceed to the next screen.
The next screen will allow you to set the frame size of your display to match that of your screen. If your screen does not require adjustment, we recommend leaving it at 100% and clicking the "Next" icon.
The next screen will allow you to choose the resolution. We recommend leaving the first option selected, as most modern screens support it.
If your player is connected to the network via cable, click the "Next" icon to proceed to the next screen. Otherwise, choose your Wi-Fi hotspot from the list and enter the password if required.
On the next screen, search for and select your current time zone and click on next to complete the setup .
Now all you have to do is to link your player to your Monitors Online account.
From the next screen menu, choose the Playr for the Online MAW setup, and the app will load.
The Playr app will open, displaying your unique registration code. Write down this code and log in to your Monitors Online account to complete the player registration.
