MAWi supports two flexible ways to display PowerPoint slideshows across your screens:

1. Native PowerPoint Launcher
   Leverages Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer for full‑screen, native-quality playback, with precise control over resolution, layout, and looping.
2. MAW Chrome Launcher
   Uses a Chromium‑based browser to run slideshows via Chrome, eliminating the need for PowerPoint Viewer. 

This guide covers how to set up both options in the MAWi dashboard.

Option 1: Native PowerPoint Launcher

• MAWi Agent with PowerPoint Viewer 2010 + SP2 installed (usually auto-installed, otherwise download and install manually)
  
• In case it wasn’t installed, please follow the steps below:
  

Install PowerPoint Viewer 2010 from the following link: 
http://monitorsanywhere.com/PPT/

Make sure you install both the PowerPointViewer and the Service Pack2 (SP2).

 

🖥 Configure Presentation in PowerPoint

1. In Slide Show → Setup Slide Show:

   • Set Show type to Presented by a speaker (Full screen)

   • Check Loop continuously until 'Esc'
     
     
     

2. Under Design → Slide Size, choose either:

   • 16:9 for widescreen

   • 4:3 for standard screens

3. Under Transitions, disable “On Mouse click” and set an automatic timing (‘After’) for slides 
   

   
   

   
   

   
   

1. Create a new playlist → name it → Add New Item
2. Upload your PPT file
3. Choose launcher: MAWPowerPointLauncher
4. Save, finish, and assign your playlist to desired screens
5. Hit Play Now to begin
