How to Update the MAWi Link App on an Android Device from the Manage System Console
Introduction
Note:
To use the remote update feature, your MAWi Server must be running version 2.083-1 or higher.
Remote updating of the MAWi Link app is only possible if USB Debugging is enabled on the Android device.
For MAWi Player devices (v1 and v2), USB Debugging is enabled by default, so no additional configuration is required.
1. Open the MAWi Management Console
Launch the MAWi Management Console on your PC.
Log in with your administrator credentials.
2. Navigate to the Manage System Panel
From the left-hand menu, click on Admin Panel > Manage System.
A list of all connected Android devices will appear.
3. Download the latest version of MAWi Link app
4. Start the Update
Click the Update Agent Settings wheel button.
Select the Android app tab > Click on the Browse file and select the latest APK version > Update path
5. Select the Android devices and Update
Click on the Android icon and make sure it's colored in Green
Select the devices you wish to update and press Update Agent.
Confirm when asked "Are you sure?"
6. Verify Completion
Once the update is complete, the device will reconnect and display the latest app version in the console.
