How to Use Vysor to Remotely Control MAWi Player v2 Devices


Overview


Vysor is a third-party tool that allows remote screen viewing and control of Android devices from a Windows or macOS computer.
It can be used to access and control MAWi Player v2 devices that run on Android hardware, without physically connecting a mouse or keyboard to the player.

This guide explains how to prepare the MAWi Player v2, install Vysor, and perform remote control safely and effectively.



Prerequisites


Hardware and Network
  • MAWi Player v2 (Android based)
  • A Windows or macOS PC
  • Local network access (PC and MAWi Player must be on the same network for wireless use)
Software




Step 1: Install Vysor on Your Computer


  1. Download Vysor from:
  2. Install the desktop application.
  3. Launch Vysor.
Free and paid versions both work, but the free version has lower resolution and possible latency.






Step 2: Connect to MAWi Player v2 Over the Network


Notes
MAWi Player v2 can be accessed directly over the local network.
  1. Ensure the MAWi Player v2 is powered on and connected to the network.
  2. Note the device IP address:
    • Settings → Network → WiFi or Ethernet
  3. On your computer, open Vysor.
  4. In Vysor, select the option to connect to a device over the network.




  5. Enter the MAWi Player v2 IP address when prompted.



  6. Click on the "Play" to start the remote control.




Once connected, full remote control of the MAWi Player is available.
