How to open a Youtube video in full screen using VLC

Please note:

Starting from early 2022, VLC has been prevented from streaming YouTube content, thereby disabling the option to utilize their platform for this purpose. However, we have devised an alternative solution to play YouTube videos through our MAW Chrome Launcher application. Please follow this guide.

Open Youtube using your browser inside the main display and go to the video that you want to show

Copy the main Link for the video or use the option Share

                 

 

       

                                                                                                          

Select COPY

   

  

Play videos on multiple screens

1. Create a new playlist and give it a name (1) , Select "Add new Item" (2)

2. Select Add URL, paste the Link that you have from Youtube and Select VLC Media Player to play the video

3. Press Save

4. Go to Finish

5. Select the screens, drag and drop the playlist on their thumbnails

6. Press Play

Please note that version of VLC needs to be 3.0.0.14 and up.

* In the same way, you can have each screen playing a different video.
