Follow the steps below to upgrade your MAWi system to the latest version.
1. Save a backup of your system
Before upgrading, we strongly recommend saving a backup of your MAWi system.
Go to:
Admin Panel > Backup and Restore
Then download and save the backup file in a safe location.

2. Download the latest MAWi installer
Download the latest MAWi installer from the official download link provided by Monitors AnyWhere support or from your customer account.
3. Run the installer
Run the new MAWi installer on the same PC where MAWi is currently installed.
The installer will detect the existing MAWi installation and upgrade it to the latest version.
4. Complete the installation
Follow the instructions in the installation wizard until the upgrade process is completed.
When the installation is finished, restart the MAWi services or restart the PC if requested.
5. Open MAWi and verify the system
After the upgrade is completed, open MAWi and confirm that:

Your screens are listed correctly

Your playlists and content are available

Your settings were preserved

The system is running normally
6. Update the MAWi Players if needed
If the new MAWi version includes updates for MAWi Players or endpoint devices, update them as well to ensure full compatibility with the server version.
Important Notes
Do not uninstall the existing MAWi version before upgrading, unless instructed by Monitors AnyWhere support.
Uninstalling MAWi may remove system files or settings that are required for the upgrade.
Always keep a backup file before performing any upgrade.
